Melike Karabulut graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts in 1991 as the first in the 4-year workshop evaluation and the second in the faculty. She was deemed worthy of the “Prof.Dr. İhsan Doğramacı Scientific Encouragement Award”. In 1990, she was among the 17 most successful artists of the year in Europe by the Financial Times. She represented Turkey in the 1990 ECUME. She opened her first exhibition in Berlin. In 1993, she entered the “Kaya zsezgin Turkish Plastic Artists Encyclopedia” with her exhibition at Ankara Gallery Zone. She completed her master’s degree at Hacettepe University in 1993 with her thesis on “The Place of Visual Communication and Message in Plastic Arts”. She made various installations within the scope of the courses she took during her master’s degree and in 1994 she intensified her studies on interior architecture and design. In 1998, she established her own design office in Istanbul. She still continues her works on interior design and art in the country and abroad.
