Cemal Çobanoğlu

Cemal  obanoğlu received bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture and a master’s degree in International Masters in Interior Architectural Design from Istanbul Technical University. He studied at Lahti University of Applied Sciences in Finland and Edinburgh College of Art in Scotland. During this period he wrote his thesis on mid-century furniture design and Scandinavian design. He has received many awards in urban design, interior design, and furniture design competitions. After graduation, he gained experience in various design offices. In 2014, he founded ‘ABRA Design Studio’ with Başak Bakkaloğlu and simultaneously writes for Arkitera.
